From tiny pebbles to towering mountains, rocks tell the incredible story of our planet.
Join Green Panther for a unique overnight geology camp where children and parents explore the fascinating world beneath their feet. Guided by an experienced geologist, families will discover how rocks are formed, identify different rock types, examine real geological specimens, and understand the forces that have shaped the Earth over millions of years.
Set amidst the beautiful rocky landscape of Kanakapura, this immersive camp combines science, exploration, adventure, and the joy of spending a night outdoors. Expect hands-on learning, meaningful conversations, campfire moments, and plenty of opportunities to observe the landscape with curious eyes.
No prior knowledge is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore!
Camp Itinerary
Saturday | 29 August
2:00 PM – Check-in & Tent Allocation
2:00 – 4:00 PM – Complimentary Adventure Activities at the Campsite
4:00 PM – High Tea
5:00 – 6:30 PM – Introduction to Geology

6:30 – 8:30 AM – Guided Geology Exploration Walk (nearby mountain)
Explore the surrounding rocky landscape with the geologist as you:
Observe different rock formations
Learn to identify rocks and minerals
Understand how landscapes are shaped
Experience geology through hands-on observation in the field
